Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you have a calm, patient approach and a desire to make a meaningful impact every day?

Protocol Education is seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a range of specialist schools and alternative provisions in Bath. Due to the nature and location of some of our partner schools, a full UK driving licence is essential.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a variety of additional needs, including:

• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
• ADHD
• Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
• Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties

You will work on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping pupils access learning, build confidence and develop essential life skills. Every day will be different, offering a rewarding opportunity to positively influence a young person's educational journey.

What We're Looking For

• A full UK driving licence
• Experience working with children or young people in education, care, support work or similar settings
• A patient, resilient and nurturing approach
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A willingness to learn and develop within SEN education
