Protocol Education is recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of primary, secondary, and specialist SEN settings throughout Bath and the surrounding areas.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, Speech & Language Difficulties, and Learning Disabilities.
  • Work on a 1:1 basis or with small groups of students.
  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
  • Support students in achieving both academic and personal development goals.
  • Implement behaviour and learning support strategies.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, teachers, and families.

We Are Looking For

  • A patient, caring, and resilient individual.
  • Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults is desirable but not essential.
  • Graduates interested in education, psychology, social work, counselling, or teaching are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of young people.
