With an inhouse training facility they can upskill and recert for any elapsed qualifications or put you forward for further training.
The Role
I'm hiring a Civils Supervisor to manage the safe and efficient delivery of civil engineering works across sites nationwide.
You will lead site teams and subcontractors, coordinate labour, plant and materials, and ensure work is completed safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. This is a client-facing position requiring regular travel and occasional visits to company offices. You will be instrumental in driving efficiencies, quality and process on site to get the best out of the team.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and motivate site teams delivering civil engineering works

Coordinate directly employed labour and subcontractors

Deliver daily safety briefings and toolbox talks

Ensure work complies with RAMS, company procedures and safety legislation

Maintain accurate site records, diaries and progress reports
-
Attend site and project progress meetings
-
Coordinate labour, plant and materials
-
Complete quality inspections in accordance with inspection and test plans
-
Supervise temporary works activities
-
Support the preparation of RAMS and task briefings
-
Communicate site issues promptly to the management team

Develop strong relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues
-
Support tender teams with site knowledge and accurate pricing information
Requirements

SMSTS or SSSTS
-
CSCS Gold or Black Card
-
CITB Temporary Works Supervisor
-
CPCS Lift Supervisor
-
Formal first aid qualification
-
Experience supervising site teams and subcontractors
-
Experience delivering work in accordance with RAMS, HSEQ and programme requirements

Experience in earthworks, excavations, formwork and reinforced concrete
-
Previous involvement in pile cap construction
-
Experience constructing, inspecting and dismantling temporary works
-
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
-
Good knowledge of UK health and safety legislation

Experience managing lifting operations
-
Full UK driving licence
-
Willingness to travel and work across the UK
Desirable Qualifications

CAT and Genny training

Confined Space training
-
Manual Handling training

IPAF certification
-
PASMA certification

Relevant CPCS plant tickets

FREC first aid qualification
