Project Engineer 

Summary

A multi-disciplinary service provider for the rail and construction sectors are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join their team in The Midlands working to support delivery across major infrastructure and rail projects, including HS2-related works.
Based from head office in Aston, Birmingham, this is a key role within the project team, providing technical leadership and engineering coordination to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification.

You will be joining a growing business delivering high-profile projects with clear progression in a strong engineering team.

As a Project Engineer you will be:

-    Coordinating engineering activities across the project lifecycle
-    Reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
-    Managing technical queries (TQs), RFIs, and design coordination
-    Supporting site teams with technical guidance and issue resolution
-    Ensuring compliance with quality and technical assurance requirements
-    Managing engineering records, including as-built information

Project Engineer Specification 

-    Experience in a Project Engineer role within construction, rail, or infrastructure
-    Strong understanding of engineering coordination and construction delivery
-    Experience working with drawings, survey data, and technical documentation
-    Proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills
-    HS2 or major infrastructure experience desirable

Salary / Benefits

Competitive salary of between £48,000 - £60,000 dependant on experience plus;
