The Opportunity

As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting pupils throughout the school day, helping to create an environment where children feel confident, engaged and ready to learn.

Your responsibilities may include:

Supporting teaching and learning across Years 3 to 6

Delivering small-group interventions in literacy and numeracy

⭐ Providing one-to-one support for pupils who need additional guidance

Helping pupils remain focused and engaged during lessons

Supporting children with SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needs

Encouraging positive behaviour, independence and resilience

Working collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff

Assisting with playtimes, school activities and classroom organisation

Pay & Location

We're Looking For Someone Who:

✔ Has experience working with children in schools, childcare, coaching, youth work or similar settings

✔ Enjoys supporting children aged 7-11

✔ Is patient, positive and approachable

✔ Can build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues

✔ Remains calm and resilient when faced with challenges

✔ Has a genuine interest in supporting children's development

✔ Is keen to gain further experience within education

Experience supporting children with SEND, SEMH, ADHD or autism is beneficial but not essential.
