A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Keynsham is seeking a caring and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their EYFS team. The Role

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support children with additional needs on a 1:1 basis and within small groups
• Help create a calm, positive, and engaging learning environment
• Encourage children's social, emotional, and communication development
• Work closely with the class teacher and SEND team to adapt activities and learning opportunities
• Support children in developing confidence, independence, and positive relationships
• Use patience, creativity, and consistency to help children achieve their individual goals
• Celebrate progress and milestones, no matter how big or small

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience working with children with SEND, SEMH, complex needs, or additional learning needs
• Understands the EYFS framework and child development principles
• Is patient, resilient, and able to remain calm under pressure
• Has a nurturing and child-centred approach
• Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
• Is passionate about making a meaningful difference in children's lives

• Valid passport or proof of right to work in the UK
• Two proofs of current address
• An up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years of work and/or education, with any gaps explained
• An overseas police check if you have lived abroad for 3 months or more during the last 5 years
