Have you studied Criminology and want to develop a career supporting vulnerable young people?
Protocol Education is recruiting Criminology Graduates to work as Behaviour Mentors within specialist SEMH schools across Blyth, Ashington and Bedlington.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working with pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support.
Location: Blyth, Ashington & Bedlington
Contract: Full-Time
About the Role
Many pupils have experienced barriers to learning and need consistent adults who can build positive relationships and support them to succeed.
You will work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to support engagement, attendance and personal development.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing behaviour support
- Encouraging positive engagement
- Supporting emotional regulation
- Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis
- Promoting confidence and resilience
- Acting as a positive role model

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
