Not every superhero wears a cape... some just know how to turn a difficult day into a better one.
Some young people don't need someone to have all the answers. They just need someone who shows up, listens, believes in them, and helps them find their way.
If you're calm under pressure, brilliant at building relationships, and passionate about helping young people succeed, we'd love to hear from you.
We're working with a number of welcoming secondary schools across Bradford looking for compassionate and confident Pastoral & Behaviour Support staff. Whether you've worked in schools, youth work, coaching, mentoring, care or community support, this is your chance to make a genuine difference every single day.
Why you'll love these roles
Every day brings something different.
One moment you could be helping a pupil regulate their emotions before lesson starts. The next, you'll be celebrating a breakthrough that's taken weeks to achieve.
You'll become someone pupils trust, teachers rely on, and schools genuinely value.
What you'll be doing
Supporting pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs
Building positive relationships that boost confidence, resilience and self-belief
Helping pupils overcome barriers that stop them reaching their potential
Delivering one-to-one and small group interventions
Working alongside teachers, pastoral leaders and families to provide the best support possible
Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
Monitoring wellbeing, behaviour and attendance where needed
Helping create a safe, calm and inclusive environment where every pupil feels supported
Who we're looking for
You don't need to come from a traditional school background.
If you've supported young people in any capacity and know how to build trust, encourage positive behaviour and stay calm when challenges arise, you'll fit right in.
We're especially keen to hear from:
✔ Behaviour Support Workers
✔ Pastoral Support Staff
