This is a great opportunity for an experienced HSE Advisor to join a main contractor on Hinckley Point. This role in particular is based onsite at Hinckley Point C working on civils/roads/utilities
Our client is looking for a HSE Advisor to join them working on the Civil Engineering aspects of the project an will involve working on shore and offshore. This is an initial 6 month contract, with the opportunity to potentially extend beyond this. This role falls inside IR35. 

Package offered for this HSE Advisor role:
· Up to £530 per day 
· Inside IR35
· 6 month initial contract with potential for future extension

Key responsibilities for this HSE Advisor role:

• Offer daily technical advice and support on all health and safety issues

•  risk-based monitoring 

• Promote and enforce H&S Standards

• Risk based inspection and audits to assess health and safety performance. 

• Develop health and safety risk profiles

• Ensure compliance and Reviews

• Conducts inspections, manage accident investigations and maintain records and reports.

• Provide training, briefing and information on the H&S management system

• Work collaboratively with other safety, health and environmental professionals
  
  Experience required for this HSE Advisor role:

• Experience in a similar role. 

• Ideally Civils/Utilities/Roads experience 

• Some flexibility required working some nights etc as and when required

• Hold a minimum NEBOSH certificate or equivalent 

• Able to deliver internal H&S management courses 

• Advise on health and safety issues on a day to day basis on site

• Conduct standard accident investigations on site

• Able to write site inspection reports and audit reports
