

H&S Advisor
This is a great opportunity for an experienced HSE Advisor to join a main contractor on Hinckley Point. This role in particular is based onsite at Hinckley Point C working on civils/roads/utilities
Our client is looking for a HSE Advisor to join them working on the Civil Engineering aspects of the project an will involve working on shore and offshore. This is an initial 6 month contract, with the opportunity to potentially extend beyond this. This role falls inside IR35.
Package offered for this HSE Advisor role:
· Up to £530 per day
· Inside IR35
· 6 month initial contract with potential for future extension
Key responsibilities for this HSE Advisor role:

Offer daily technical advice and support on all health and safety issues

risk-based monitoring

Promote and enforce H&S Standards

Risk based inspection and audits to assess health and safety performance.

Develop health and safety risk profiles

Ensure compliance and Reviews
-
Conducts inspections, manage accident investigations and maintain records and reports.

Provide training, briefing and information on the H&S management system
-
Work collaboratively with other safety, health and environmental professionals
Experience required for this HSE Advisor role: -
Experience in a similar role.

Ideally Civils/Utilities/Roads experience

Some flexibility required working some nights etc as and when required

Hold a minimum NEBOSH certificate or equivalent

Able to deliver internal H&S management courses

Advise on health and safety issues on a day to day basis on site

Conduct standard accident investigations on site
-
Able to write site inspection reports and audit reports
-
As this is working onsite security clearance will needed to obtain
