We’re working with a welcoming primary school in South Bristol looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with speech and language needs.

This role is all about communication, not just what’s said, but how it’s understood.

What your day will involve:
You’ll support one pupil throughout the day, helping them access learning in a way that makes sense to them.

That might mean using visual aids, simplifying instructions, or giving them the time and space to process.

You’ll work closely with the teacher and external professionals to keep things consistent and supportive.

The ideal candidate:
You’re patient, clear in your communication, and great at breaking things down.

Experience with speech and language needs is a bonus, but your ability to listen and adapt is what really matters.
