This rewarding role is ideal for Teaching Assistants, Support Workers, Care Workers, Psychology graduates, or anyone looking to build a career in SEN education.
The Role
As an Autism Support Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) both in and out of the classroom
- Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual needs
- Help students develop communication, social, and emotional skills
- Encourage engagement in learning activities
- Assist with behaviour regulation and positive routines
- Work closely with teachers and wider support staff to create a positive learning environment
We're Looking For
- Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults
- A patient, caring, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs
- SEN or autism experience is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
