Do you have experience working with children, young people, or individuals with additional needs? We are recruiting Autism Support Assistants to work in specialist education settings across BS34, Bristol.

This rewarding role is ideal for Teaching Assistants, Support Workers, Care Workers, Psychology graduates, or anyone looking to build a career in SEN education.

The Role

As an Autism Support Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) both in and out of the classroom
• Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual needs
• Help students develop communication, social, and emotional skills
• Encourage engagement in learning activities
• Assist with behaviour regulation and positive routines
• Work closely with teachers and wider support staff to create a positive learning environment

We're Looking For

• Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults
• A patient, caring, and resilient approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs
• SEN or autism experience is desirable but not essential
