We are recruiting Learning Support Assistants, Teaching Assistants and Learning Partners to work across Early Years and Key Stage 1 settings in North Bristol.

Whether you're looking for the stability of a long-term or permanent position, or want the freedom to choose when you work through flexible, ad hoc supply, we have opportunities to suit different levels of availability and experience.

The roles

Depending on the school and position, you could be:

• Supporting children across Nursery, Reception, Year 1 or Year 2
• Providing 1:1 or small-group support, including for children with SEND
• Helping children develop their communication, confidence and independence
• Supporting early learning through play, creativity and practical activities
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
• Helping children with transitions and classroom routines
• Working alongside teachers, SEND teams and other support staff
• Creating a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children can thrive

Who are we looking for?

We'd love to hear from people with experience in Early Years, primary education, SEND, childcare, youth work or care.

We're also interested in candidates from other backgrounds who have the right transferable skills and a genuine passion for working with children.

You'll ideally be:

• Patient, nurturing and enthusiastic
• Confident building positive relationships with young children
• Creative and comfortable getting involved in play-based learning
• Able to provide clear boundaries and consistent support
• Reliable, adaptable and ready to become part of a school community

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. Temporary positions may, in some cases, offer the opportunity to become permanent at a later date.
