Are you a reliable and hardworking individual looking for a rewarding role in a busy kitchen environment? We are seeking enthusiastic Kitchen Assistants to support catering teams within schools and educational settings across the BS4 area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in helping to provide nutritious meals for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and serving of food.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen.
- Wash utensils, crockery, and kitchen equipment.
- Support the catering team during busy service periods.
- Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times.
- Help with stock rotation and storage of deliveries.
Requirements
- Previous kitchen, catering, hospitality, or food preparation experience is desirable.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work within a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of food hygiene practices is beneficial.
- Enhanced DBS is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
