We are looking for a committed and resilient Learning Partner to work full-time in a welcoming primary school in North Bristol, providing dedicated 1:1 support for a Key Stage 2 child with complex behavioural needs.

This is a rewarding role for someone who can build a strong, trusting relationship with a child who may find aspects of school challenging. You'll provide consistent support, helping them regulate their emotions, engage with learning and make positive choices throughout the school day.

The role:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day
• Build a positive and consistent relationship with the child
• Support emotional regulation, behaviour and engagement
• Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
• Work closely with teaching staff and the wider SEND team
• Use a calm, patient and consistent approach during challenging situations

About you:

We're looking for someone who is resilient, patient and confident, with the ability to look beyond behaviour and understand the needs behind it.

Previous experience within SEND, behaviour support, schools, youth work, mentoring or care would be particularly valuable.
