We're looking for a passionate Maths Teacher to work across a range of settings, from mainstream secondary schools to SEMH and SEND environments. No two days look quite the same. One week you could be helping a Year 10 class master algebra, the next supporting learners who thrive with a more personalised and nurturing approach. What you'll be doing

• Delivering engaging Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive
• Adapting lessons and resources to meet individual learning needs
• Supporting students with a range of additional needs, including SEND and SEMH
• Building positive relationships that encourage confidence, resilience, and achievement
• Working closely with school staff, support teams, and families to support pupil progress
• Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback that helps learners move forward

What we're looking for

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, Key Stage 5 experience is a bonus
• Confidence adapting lessons to meet a range of learning needs and abilities
• Experience working in mainstream, SEMH, SEND, or alternative provision settings is desirable
• Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
• A flexible, positive approach and the ability to thrive in different classroom environments
• A genuine passion for helping young people build confidence and achieve their potential
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

Bonus points if you have

• Experience supporting students with SEND, SEMH, ADHD, Autism, or other additional needs
• Team Teach, Thrive, or other behaviour and inclusion training
• Experience delivering intervention sessions or supporting exam preparation

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
