Psychology Graduate Opportunity, SEND & SEMH Schools, Bristol

Turn your degree into something that changes lives.

Finished your Psychology degree and wondering what's next? If you're looking for hands-on experience before a career in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Mental Health or Teaching, this could be the perfect first step.

We're working with fantastic SEND and SEMH schools across Bristol that are looking for caring, resilient and enthusiastic Psychology graduates to support children and young people with a range of additional needs.

No two days are the same. One moment you'll be helping a pupil regulate their emotions, the next you'll be celebrating a breakthrough that seemed impossible just weeks before. It's challenging, rewarding and genuinely makes a difference.

The role:

  • Supporting children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and other additional needs
  • Working one-to-one and in small groups to help pupils access learning
  • Building positive relationships that help pupils feel safe, understood and confident
  • Supporting emotional regulation, communication and social development
  • Working alongside experienced teachers, SENCOs and therapists

We're looking for:

  • A Psychology graduate (or a related degree)
  • A genuine interest in child development, mental health or SEND
  • A calm, patient and positive attitude
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
  • Experience working with children or young people is a bonus, but not essential

Why join Protocol Education?

  • Gain invaluable experience for future careers in Psychology, Teaching or Therapy
  • Weekly PAYE pay, no umbrella companies
  • FREE access to our online CPD Academy
  • Ongoing support from your own dedicated consultant
  • Opportunities across mainstream, SEND and specialist schools throughout Bristol

If you're ready to put your degree into practice and make a real impact every day, we'd love to hear from you.
