We're working with a number of specialist SEMH schools and alternative provisions across Bristol who are looking for qualified teachers ready to make a genuine impact. These settings need educators who can build trust, create stability, and help young people rediscover their confidence in education.

What you'll be doing

  • Teaching pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs
  • Delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual learning styles
  • Building positive relationships that encourage growth and resilience
  • Creating a structured environment where pupils feel safe and supported
  • Working alongside pastoral teams, support staff, and external professionals to help pupils achieve their potential

We'd love to hear from you if you:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience working within SEMH, SEND, PRU, alternative provision, or behaviour support settings
  • Understand that behaviour is communication
  • Can remain calm, adaptable, and positive in challenging situations
  • Are passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
