SEMH Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting SEMH Teaching Assistants to work in specialist education settings across Kingswood (BS16), supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

The Role
As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
- Help students manage emotions and overcome barriers to learning
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement in the classroom
- Support students both academically and socially
- Work closely with teachers and pastoral teams to create a safe and supportive environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
