The Role
As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
- Help students manage emotions and overcome barriers to learning
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement in the classroom
- Support students both academically and socially
- Work closely with teachers and pastoral teams to create a safe and supportive environment
