We are recruiting for a fantastic Autism Specialist School in the BS35 area and are looking for caring, enthusiastic, and reliable individuals to join their dedicated team.

This specialist setting supports children and young people with Autism, providing a nurturing and structured environment where every student is encouraged to reach their full potential. The Role

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support students both in and out of the classroom
  • Build positive relationships with pupils
  • Help students develop their confidence, independence, and social skills
  • Support learning activities tailored to individual needs
  • Work alongside teachers and specialist staff to provide the best outcomes for students

What We're Looking For

Experience working with SEN is desirable but not essential

Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults

Care, support work, youth work, nursery, or coaching backgrounds are highly welcomed

A patient, resilient, and positive attitude

A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential due to the school's location

A genuine passion for supporting young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
