Protocol Education is seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of specialist schools and provisions in Bristol and the surrounding areas. Due to the nature and location of some of our partner schools, a full UK driving licence is essential.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who have a range of additional needs, including:

• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
• ADHD
• Speech and Language Difficulties
• Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties

You will provide both 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils to access learning, develop social skills and achieve their individual targets.

What We're Looking For

• A full UK driving licence
• Experience working with children or young people, ideally within education, care or support settings
• A calm, patient and nurturing approach
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs and challenging behaviours
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential
