Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work that fits around your lifestyle?
We are currently recruiting enthusiastic SEN TAs to support a range of primary and secondary schools across the BS35 area. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, Support Workers, Care Workers, or individuals with a background supporting children and young people with additional needs.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Work on a 1:1 basis and in small group settings
- Assist students with communication, social, emotional and learning needs
- Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
- Work flexibly across a variety of local schools
What We're Looking For
✅ Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or complex needs
✅ A patient, caring and adaptable approach
✅ Strong communication and relationship-building skills
✅ Ability to work as part of a wider school team
✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
