We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work within schools in the BS35 area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting pupils both academically and emotionally, helping them to thrive in a positive learning environment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support pupils in the classroom on a one-to-one and small group basis.
- Encourage engagement, participation, and confidence in learning.
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and behaviour management.
- Support pupils with additional learning, social, emotional, or behavioural needs where required.
- Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
- A positive, patient, and proactive approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Access to a car is essential due to the location and travel requirements of the role.
- Child Workforce DBS preferred.
