Protocol Education is working closely with a number of welcoming primary schools in Kingswood seeking confident and experienced teachers to support Year 5 and Year 6 classes.

These roles are ideal for teachers who enjoy the challenge and reward of Upper KS2, helping pupils build confidence, prepare for assessments and make a successful transition towards secondary school.

The Role

As an Upper KS2 Teacher, you'll play a key role in maintaining high standards and ensuring pupils remain engaged, motivated and progressing.

You may be:

Delivering engaging lessons across the Year 5 and Year 6 curriculum

Supporting pupils as they prepare for end-of-key-stage assessments

Building confidence, resilience and independence

We're Looking For Teachers Who:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have recent UK teaching experience within KS2
  • Feel confident teaching upper KS2, particularly Year 5 or Year 6
  • Understand assessment and SATs preparation requirements
  • Can quickly establish routines and maintain high expectations
  • Build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues
  • Want flexible working without leaving the profession they love

What We Need to Clear You

  • Valid passport or proof of right to work in the UK
  • Two recent proofs of address
  • A CV covering the last 10 years of work and/or education history, with any gaps explained
  • References covering relevant employment and education history
  • An overseas police check if you have lived abroad for 3 months or more within the last 5 years
  • An Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
