  • Adapting support strategies to meet individual learning and emotional needs
  • Working closely with the school's SEND team, teachers and pastoral staff
  • Promoting independence, confidence and engagement in learning
  • Supporting students with emotional regulation, organisation and social skills
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and helping students overcome barriers to learning
  • Building strong relationships that enable students to thrive both academically and personally

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN
  • Experience within schools, SEND settings, youth work, coaching, care or similar environments is highly desirable
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
  • Patience, empathy and strong relationship-building skills
