Senior Quantity Surveyor | Cardiff / South Wales | Housebuilding

I'm currently working on an exciting Senior Quantity Surveyor opportunity with a leading national housebuilder, based in the Cardiff area.

This is a permanent position offering the opportunity to take commercial responsibility across multiple live residential developments, working closely with the wider construction and commercial teams.

The role:

You'll take responsibility for the commercial management of several sites, including budgets, valuations, subcontractor payments, forecasting and cost control.

You'll also be involved in subcontractor negotiations, financial reporting, site profitability and supporting junior members of the commercial team.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within UK residential housebuilding

• HNC/HND or equivalent construction-related qualification

• Strong commercial and financial management skills

• Good knowledge of Excel and Word

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Full UK driving licence
