About the Role

We are looking for a caring, reliable, and compassionate 1:1 Support Worker to join our team in Chesterfield. You will provide personalised, one-to-one support to an individual, helping them live as independently as possible while promoting their wellbeing, confidence, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred, one-to-one support tailored to individual needs.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care if required.
  • Support community access, appointments, shopping, and social activities.
  • Encourage independence and help develop life skills.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships while respecting dignity and choice.
  • Follow care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and families where appropriate.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
  • A great communicator with a positive attitude.
  • Able to work independently and use their initiative.
  • Flexible and committed to delivering high-quality support.
  • Respectful of confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Essential

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Good spoken and written English.
  • Willingness to complete relevant training.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Desirable

  • Previous experience in care, support work, or working with people with additional needs.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (if required for the role).
