Key Responsibilities

  • Support class teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Provide encouragement and guidance to help pupils reach their full potential.
  • Be a positive and approachable presence, making a meaningful difference to a child's school day.
  • Adapt to the needs of individual pupils and support them in accessing learning opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Promote the wellbeing, safety, and positive behaviour of all pupils.

Requirements

  • A positive attitude and genuine passion for supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with the confidence to think on your feet.
  • Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
