Certification Body Manager / Lead Auditor

A UKAS-accredited certification body providing independent assessment and certification to the international standards ISO 9001:2015 ISO 14001:2015 ISO 45001:2023 and ISO 50001:2018 is looking to hire Certification Body Manager to 
manage the day to day operations of the business' Certification Body and be the company's lead contact within UKAS.

Based from Head office in Derby with Hybrid / Flexible working, you will be joining a versatile team of highly qualified Health & Safety professionals who have gained recognition as a leading provider of cost effective, customer-focused Consultancy, Training and Auditing in Safety, Quality, Environmental and Engineering services.

As a Certification Body Manager you will:

-    Ensure that the certification of management systems is carried out in accordance with the relevant procedures
-    Authorise and monitor the standard of audit reports
-    Manage the conduct of audits to ensure compliance with international standards and internal procedures in a manner that ensures customer satisfaction.
-    Promote the products, services and image of the business to a wider client base in order to grow the Company's sales potential.
-    Develop and record a detailed working knowledge of all client accounts assigned to the post in order to facilitate their long term requirements in a pro-active and professional manner.

Certification Body Manager Specification

-    A broad-based general engineering background or equivalent technical experience. (rail experience highly desirable)
-    National registration as a Lead Auditor.
-    A strong working and operational knowledge of ISO standards, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 50001:2018
-    Technical qualifications to HNC/HND level or equivalent.
-    Competence in report writing and presentation skills.
-    Fully conversant and experienced in the use of Microsoft Word.    

Desirable Requirements

-    Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
-    Personal Track Safety 
-    Health and Safety qualification to a minimum NEBOSH General.

Salary: Circa £48,000 - £60,000 dependant on level of experience plus package.
