Whether you're considering a future career in teaching or already have experience in schools, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact.Key Responsibilities Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff.Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students remain engaged with their learning.Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies.Provide support and guidance to students throughout the lesson.Ensure a positive, safe, and productive learning environment.Report back to teaching staff on student progress, behaviour, and lesson outcomes.Support the wider school community when required. Requirements Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.Excellent communication and classroom management skills.Confidence in leading a classroom and engaging students.A flexible, professional, and proactive approach.A genuine passion for supporting students in their education.An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) is required.
