• Can help pupils develop independence, resilience and self-confidence.

• Build positive, trusting relationships with children and colleagues.

• Remain calm and consistent when supporting emotional regulation.

• Can adapt strategies to help children maintain focus and engagement.

• Value inclusion and believe every child should feel safe, supported and successful at school.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing individual support in line with a pupil's EHCP.

• Delivering targeted interventions in literacy, numeracy and social development.

• Adapting learning activities to ensure all pupils can access the curriculum.

• Working collaboratively with teachers, the SEND team and external professionals.

The school offers:

• A supportive and collaborative staff team.

• A strong commitment to inclusion and pupil wellbeing.

• Access to high-quality professional development.

• Training opportunities including Team Teach and Paediatric First Aid.

• A welcoming environment where staff development is valued and encouraged.

Applicants must be able to provide two years of professional references and hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service.
