We're looking for an SEN-experienced Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Downend. This role is Monday to Friday, from 8.30am to 12.30pm.

This morning-only role involves working closely with pupils who require additional support, helping them access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

The role

• Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs in the classroom
• Providing one-to-one and small group support
• Helping pupils stay engaged with learning and classroom routines
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
• Promoting a positive, inclusive learning environment

Requirements

• Previous experience supporting children with SEND
• A calm, patient, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service
• Ability to provide references covering the last two years
