About the Role
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school team in Dronfield.
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support pupils with their learning, development and wellbeing. You will help create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment where every child has the opportunity to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils with their learning and classroom activities.
- Working with individuals and small groups to provide additional support.
- Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours.
- Supporting children with their social, emotional and educational needs.
- Assisting the class teacher with preparing resources and activities.
- Promoting a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Supporting pupils during lessons, break times and other school activities.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about working with children and supporting their development.
- Patient, caring and approachable.
- Reliable, enthusiastic and professional.
- A strong communicator and team player.
- Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable, but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
