We are currently recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Bexhill, with an immediate start available.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to make a positive difference to students' learning and development.
The Role- As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and students to provide classroom and learning support. You will help students stay engaged with their work, build confidence and get the most from their education.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting students in lessons across the secondary school
• Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required
• Helping students access and understand their learning
• Working alongside teachers to support classroom activities
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
• Building positive and professional relationships with students
• Supporting students who may have additional learning needs

We're Looking For The school would be interested in hearing from candidates who have:

• Previous experience working with children or young people
• Experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Youth Worker or similar
• A patient, positive and encouraging approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to build strong relationships with students
• A reliable and professional attitude
• A genuine interest in supporting young people

You don't necessarily need previous secondary school experience — relevant experience working with young people will also be considered.
