

Behaviour & Learning Support Assistant
Can you keep your cool when things get heated?
We're looking for a confident and resilient Behaviour & Learning Support Assistant to join a Primary PRU in Ferryhill.
The pupils in this setting need adults who are consistent, calm, and capable of managing challenging behaviour positively and professionally.
Your day might include:
• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis
• Managing challenging behaviours
• Encouraging engagement with learning
• Helping pupils develop social and emotional skills
• Being a positive role model
The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience in a PRU, SEND school, youth work, care, coaching, or support work
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong behaviour management strategies
• Plenty of patience and resilience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
