Protocol Education is recruiting a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Ferryhill, supporting pupils who benefit from additional guidance, encouragement and tailored learning.

Your responsibilities:
- Support pupils on a one-to-one and small group basis
- Encourage positive behaviour and classroom engagement
- Build strong, trusting relationships with young people
- Help pupils develop confidence, resilience and independence
- Work closely with teachers to support learning and wellbeing
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds a degree in Sociology, Criminology, Psychology, Social Sciences or a related field
- Is patient, empathetic and resilient
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is passionate about supporting young people to succeed
- Is eager to gain practical experience within education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
