Protocol Education is recruiting a full-time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a specialist SEND school in Ferryhill.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is ready to take on greater responsibility, lead learning activities and provide high-quality support to pupils with a range of SEND needs.

What you'll be doing
- Leading targeted interventions and small-group activities
- Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs
- Delivering engaging learning activities based on teacher planning
- Helping pupils work towards their individual targets
- Tracking and monitoring pupil progress
- Providing classroom cover when required
- Supporting positive behaviour and encouraging engagement
- Working closely with teachers and wider school staff
- Helping pupils develop independence, confidence and essential life skills
