I am currently on the lookout for a Project Planner for a role in Frankfurt, Germany. I am acting on behalf of a Specialist Construction & Engineering Consultancy who operate heavily in the European Data Centre & Pharmaceutical industries.This is an opportunity to join a company who has projects commencing throughout the globe with exponential growth in their Data Centre Division.Benefits of this Project Planner role:
85 Euros an hour all inclusive9 hour days / 45 hours a week12 Month Contract14th to 28th September start date
Key Responsibilities of this Project Planner role:
Develop, maintain and update project programmes using Primavera P6.Monitor project progress against the approved baseline programme.Track key milestones, critical path activities and programme dependencies.Work closely with construction and engineering teams to obtain accurate progress updates.Produce weekly and monthly programme updates and progress reports.Develop short-term look-ahead programmes and schedules.Identify programme risks, delays and potential areas of concern.Support the development of mitigation and recovery plans where required.Assist with progress measurement and analysis.Coordinate programme information across contractors, consultants and project stakeholders.Attend project planning and progress meetings.Support the Planning Manager with programme reviews, reporting and project controls.Maintain accurate programme records and ensure schedule information is kept up to date
Essential Criteria for this Project Planner role:
Proven experience as a Project Planner / Planner within construction or engineering.Previous experience on data centre, industrial, pharmaceutical or similarly complex construction projects.Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6.Good understanding of construction sequencing and project scheduling.Experience tracking progress against baseline programmes.Strong understanding of critical path, programme dependencies and schedule analysis.Excellent organisational and analytical skills.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced construction environment.Previous experience working in Germany or wider Europe would be advantageous.Fluent English is essential; German language skills would be advantageousEU Passport / Work rights are essential due to the urgency of the requirement.
