Are you an experienced teacher with a passion for supporting pupils with autism and complex learning needs?

Protocol Education is currently recruiting SEND Teachers for specialist provisions across South Shields. These settings support children and young people who require highly personalised teaching approaches to access education successfully.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
• Supporting pupils with autism, communication difficulties, and complex needs
• Creating structured learning environments
• Working closely with support staff and therapists
• Encouraging independence and personal development

What We're Looking For

• QTS
• Experience within SEND, SEN, or specialist settings
• Strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies
• Patient and adaptable approach
• Excellent communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
