

Cover Supervisor - PRU | Ideal for Youth Workers & Mentors
Are you a youth worker, mentor, sports coach, or support worker looking to transition into education?
Protocol Education is recruiting a motivated Cover Supervisor to support a PRU in Gateshead.
Many pupils in this setting respond best to adults who can provide consistency, patience, and strong relationship-building.
Your Role:
- Lead classes using pre-planned resources
- Support students with SEMH and behavioural needs
- Act as a positive role model
- Encourage attendance, engagement, and routine
- Build trust with vulnerable young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
