Protocol Education is seeking an experienced Cover Supervisor to join a specialist PRU setting in Gateshead.

We’re looking for someone who can confidently lead learning, manage behaviour positively, and support students who may have experienced barriers to mainstream education.

Main Duties:

• Deliver engaging pre-planned lessons
• Support learning across multiple subjects
• Maintain high expectations and routines
• Respond calmly to behavioural challenges
• Work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams

Requirements:
✔ Previous cover supervision or classroom experience
✔ Strong behaviour management strategies
✔ PRU / SEMH experience desirable
✔ Resilient, adaptable, and professional

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
