Graduate Learning Mentor – SEND School – Gateshead
Looking for a graduate role where every day actually makes a difference?
A specialist SEND school in Gateshead is seeking a Graduate Learning Mentor to join their supportive team and help pupils overcome barriers to learning.
You'll work closely with children and young people with Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs and communication difficulties, helping them build confidence, develop independence and engage with their education.
Location: Gateshead
Pay: £92.63–£105 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
The role
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support
- Help pupils regulate emotions and manage behaviour
- Support classroom learning and interventions
- Encourage communication and independence
- Build trusting relationships with pupils
- Work alongside teachers and SEND professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
