Graduate SEND Mentor – Gateshead

Protocol Education are recruiting a Graduate SEND Learning Mentor to work within a specialist SEND school in Gateshead.
The role is ideal for graduates who want to gain practical experience supporting children and young people before progressing into careers such as Teaching, Educational Psychology, Speech & Language Therapy or Children's Mental Health.
Location: Gateshead
Pay: £92.63–£105 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
What will you be doing?
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support
- Supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD and SEMH needs
- Helping pupils regulate emotions and behaviour
- Supporting communication and social development
- Assisting with lessons and interventions
- Encouraging confidence and independence
- Working alongside teachers and SEND specialists
