Protocol Education are recruiting for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a forward-thinking and academically focused school in Gateshead.

You don't need years of classroom experience. The school is looking for someone who is confident, enthusiastic and genuinely interested in working with young people.

What You'll Do

Support students across the curriculum
Work alongside teachers during lessons
Provide 1:1 and small-group support
Help students with literacy and written work
Encourage pupils to engage with their learning
Build positive relationships
Support students during breakfast and lunch
Take part in social and enrichment activities
Help maintain a calm and positive environment
Support students with developing independence and confidence

You'll be encouraged to get involved in the wider life of the school rather than simply observing from the sidelines.
