Protocol Education is working with schools throughout Gateshead seeking committed TAs to provide targeted academic and pastoral support to pupils with additional needs.

Role Details

• Full-time
• September start
• Monday-Friday
• 8:30am-3:30pm to 4:30pm
• Term-time only
• Long-term placement

The Role Will Include

• Supporting learning across the classroom
• Delivering literacy and numeracy interventions
• Providing 1:1 and small group support
• Supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD and learning difficulties
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
• Working closely with teachers and SENCOs
• Helping pupils develop greater independence

You'll Need

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Previous experience in a classroom environment
• A genuine commitment to inclusive education
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent organisation and teamwork
• A calm, patient and supportive nature

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
