Do you want a role where no two days are the same and every day has a positive impact?

We are looking for a committed PMLD Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex learning and physical needs within a welcoming specialist school in Gateshead.

Your Day Could Include:

  • Supporting pupils in the classroom and around school
  • Delivering sensory and interactive learning activities
  • Encouraging communication and social development
  • Assisting with personal care and physical support needs
  • Celebrating every achievement, no matter how small

You'll Be Perfect For This Role If You:

  • Have a naturally caring and positive personality
  • Enjoy helping children overcome barriers to learning
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Have experience in care, SEND, or support work (preferred but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
