Have you recently graduated and want to gain meaningful experience supporting children with additional emotional needs?

A specialist SEMH primary school in Gateshead is seeking a dedicated Psychology Graduate Learning Support Assistant to work alongside experienced teachers and pastoral staff.

This role provides excellent exposure to behaviour support, emotional wellbeing, trauma-informed practice and SEND provision.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis
• Helping children develop emotional regulation strategies
• Assisting with classroom activities and learning interventions
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
• Supporting pupils with SEMH, ADHD, Autism and additional needs
• Building confidence and self-esteem in young learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
