Protocol Education are looking for a Psychology Graduate to work as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant within a Gateshead school.

You'll work closely with an individual pupil, developing your understanding of their needs and helping them access education with greater confidence and independence.

Your Responsibilities

Provide consistent 1:1 support
Build a strong professional relationship with the pupil
Help the pupil access lessons
Adapt support to their individual needs
Encourage communication and interaction
Support emotional regulation
Promote independence
Encourage positive behaviour
Record and communicate relevant observations
Work closely with the class teacher and wider support team
