Protocol Education are recruiting a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a school in Gateshead, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone considering a future career in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Teaching, SEND, Mental Health or Child Development.

The Role

You will:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support
• Help pupils access learning
• Support children with additional needs
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
• Support emotional regulation
• Develop pupils' confidence and independence
• Build strong relationships with students
• Support communication and social development
• Work alongside teachers and SEN staff
• Help create a positive and inclusive classroom
