This is an opportunity to take your academic knowledge into the classroom and gain first-hand experience supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.

Location: Gateshead
Pay: £92.63–£105 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term

Your Role

You'll support pupils who may need additional help with behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing 1:1 support
• Supporting pupils during lessons
• Developing positive relationships
• Encouraging positive behaviour
• Helping pupils regulate their emotions
• Supporting individual interventions
• Encouraging communication and engagement
• Helping pupils develop coping strategies
• Working closely with teachers and pastoral teams
