Senior SEMH Teaching Assistant | Gateshead

Protocol Education is looking for an experienced and proactive Senior SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Gateshead.

This role is ideal for an experienced TA who is ready to take on greater responsibility and play a key role in supporting both pupils and colleagues.

Responsibilities Include:

Supporting pupils with SEMH needs
Delivering interventions and mentoring sessions
Monitoring behaviour, attendance and progress
Producing pupil reports and records
Contributing to EHCP reviews
Supporting intervention planning
Leading small-group learning activities
Sharing best practice with other support staff

Essential Skills:

Proven SEMH experience
Strong behaviour management
Excellent written communication
Ability to work independently
Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion
